Stork Club Cafe in Hanover

Pleasantly pleased and satisfied

Went to my childhood favourite place and was very disappointed. Lady at the counter took our orders My friend got a frozen yogurt and I got a burger. I got my food and then more people came in, the lady help 4 people get ice cream and food before getting my friend her frozen yogurt. It was getting to the point where we really really had to go as it was 5 to 12 and had an appointment at 12 and I still had to drop my friend off at home. I went up to the counter to let the lady know and all she said was I know I will get to ya when I get to ya. Just bad customer service!

Food was just ok and expensive. For 1 hamburger combo and 1 cheseburger it was almost $24. Would not go back.

A friend and I just stopped for lunch. Not only is the establishment clean, the service was great. Our meals were reasonably priced and our food was really good. Their milkshakes are out of this world.The girl who served us was very nice and friendly and she went above and beyond to make sure my dog had a container of ice cold water.I will be taking my kids there next time.

Just what we were looking for. Real hamburgers, pop pomegranate bacon poutine and deep fried jalapeño caps. Followed up with deep fried ice cream, yum.

I always have a footlong with the works fries and a pop.

I recently visited the Stork Club for the first time and was not impressed ! I did not find the store to be Welcoming nor was the service Welcoming. We decided to eat our ice cream outside and all the plastic chairs were dirty and the picnic tables were not very sturdy to sit on. All members in our group decided we would not return here again which is disappointing as we always try to find ways to support our local businesses.

Ordered the Swiss burger with a poutine and my wife ordered the chicken strips with a poutine.As someone that grew up in Hanover, the Stork Club was always a place to eat, especially since I was at the park all the time (yes, I was one of those grounder kids), so as I grew up and moved away, it was always a delight to have a meal when I was back in the area.My recent visit was no different. It was a nice day, we were just at the Sights and Sound festival and decided to end the day with some food.We received great service and a great meal, then ended it with some ice cream. The Stork Club is the best for their ice cream!Overall a great experience and still a favourite of mine when I am in the area.

I bought a kids cone and frozen yogurt and it cost me 10.00 kind of ridiculous.

Don’t bother. It smells strange inside. Like washroom and dirty type smells. Dirty place. Burger was small and nasty. Paid $16 for combo w fries and bottled water. Way overpriced for what you get. Couldn’t eat the burger. Meat was tough and tasted like a freezer. So bad.

No customer service, very rude staff/owner. Food is over priced for what you get. I loved this place when I was younger but since it has been taken over by new owners it's not a good experience at all.

We were very disappointed in the service and the food today on our visitWe have eaten in this establishment many times over the years, today we decided to go outside the box and order food we had not previously ordered. We wanted a Clubhouse which when we got home was in a wrap soggy from mayonnaise dripping off the bottom and ice cold. (We live about 5 min from the Club) There was no beef so the philly steak melt was out of the question and the Taco Salad which we were looking forward to was made I think when the store opened in the a.m. . The lettuce was soggy the chips were mushy and the sauce they were in was dripping all over the bottom. Very disappointed for the price we paid

I used to love this store to get ice cream treats but it seems to have gone downhill lately. It feels very dirty and unkept.

Great little place to stop on the way to the cottage for ice cream.

Won't go back food took for ever when there was only 4 other people. When I finally got my taco salad it was gross
